Curriculum
Vitae
"I started writing songs about what I went
through and what I was going through. It became my way of
communicating, getting out the issues I had stuffed down for so many
years. I had great encouragement from my team. They pushed me and were
there for me."
-Jackie Heyen, Renfrew Connections
"Heyen used to
suffer alone. Now she’s using her guitar and strong voice and her story
to reach others who suffer, too."
-Colleen Kenny, Lincoln Journal Star
